About
Boundless Edventures Inc. is a non profit 501 (c)(3), founded in 2022 by Holly Baca in collaboration with an amazing group of volunteers who have helped kids throughout our community in schools, therapy clinics, camps, sports, and as parents or guardians.
We live in a beautiful part of the country that should be explored and understood. We are blessed to have access to the water and nearby trails, as well as a desire to share our resources with kids who might not otherwise seek out these opportunities.
Our Board of Directors
The Board of Directors at Boundless Edventures is committed to creating life-changing adventure programs aimed at fostering personal growth and building lifelong friendships. We are a group of passionate leaders who, through our own diverse experiences and backgrounds, offer a unique perspective on the world. With boundless energy, creativity, and enthusiasm, we ensure that the programs we create are always fresh, dynamic, and innovative. We can’t wait to meet you!

Founder &
Executive Director
Holly Baca, COTA/L
Holly is a licensed practitioner who has provided 23 years of Occupational Therapy Services for children ages 2-18, with a variety of diagnoses. She has worked in the school system and private practices in both California and Maryland, focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skill development, executive function training, and life skills education. "I have seen children thrive in their development when they are physically challenged. When we expose them to the outdoors and engage them in new experiences that stimulate all of their senses, we see them blossom!"
Jessica Schwenk - Board Vice President
Jessica’s professional background is rooted in education and recreation. Her work includes positions in both the public and private school sectors as a learning specialist/special education teacher; and, in nonprofit and government parks and recreation directing youth, family, and outdoor programs. In addition, while living in San Diego, she served on the board of a non-profit organization that provides outdoor-based summer camps to adults, teens and children with disabilities. Jessica is an outdoor enthusiast with a love for hiking, camping, kayaking, and just about anything else that involves her soul being fed by nature. Jessica’s goals with Boundless Edventures are to support our mission of adventure therapy for teens who are neurodivergent, and to encourage young people to focus on “The Power of Yet” - a growth mindset approach to the development of self-confidence, persistence, learning and thriving from mistakes, and overcoming personal challenges. In her free time, Jessica is found hanging out with her family, adventuring with her husband, snuggling with her goofy greyhound, dancing-like-no-one-is-watching at concerts, cooking while imagining hearing those coveted words, “Jessica, you ARE Top Chef,” and visualizing a full-time career as a photography hobbyist (a.k.a. “shutterbug”).
Jesse N Renee Hillmann-Prentice - Board Secretary
Renee has been a pediatric physical therapist for over 30 years. She is the owner of Annapolis Children's Therapy Center, the President of R.E.A.C.H. Early To Thrive, and now she is excited to be part of Boundless Edventures, Inc. “I can't imagine anything more important than contributing to programs that make a difference in the lives of children.” Scientific studies repeatedly have shown the benefits of outdoor activities to a child's development. Despite this research, participation in outdoor activities continues to diminish. Boundless Edventures is an exciting, relevant, and much needed program to provide a wide variety of outdoor experiences which will directly impact a child's physical, cognitive, social and emotional development. “I am honored to be participating in the development of Boundless Edventures and I cannot wait to see the growth of this program and appreciate the impact it will have on our community.”
Stefanie Berry - Board Treasurer
Stefanie is a Senior Manager at Cherry Bekaert, working with nonprofits in the Financial & Accounting Services team. She oversees all aspects of accounting for her clients, from day-to-day accounting operations to implementing new technologies and procedures that provide efficiencies to the organizations. Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, she was the Director of Accounting & Controller for a national nonprofit, where she managed all aspects of accounting, revenue recognition, audit and tax. Stefanie lives in Chesapeake Beach with her husband, two daughters and two French bulldogs. Having a daughter in the marching band at the University of Delaware, and daughter on the high school varsity cheer team, there isn’t a lot of free time! But, when the opportunity presents itself, she enjoys DIY projects around the house, dinner with friends, girls’ weekends away antique shopping and just exploring all the history and culture of the Mid-Atlantic with her family. In the summer time she takes advantage of all the area has to offer and enjoys being outdoors on the boat or hiking local trails.
Stacy Berusch
Stacy has lived in Annapolis for over 30 years with her 3 boys and many animals. Her 2 goats love pool parties and lazer tag with the Boundless kids. She's a software developer for a local IT firm. In her free time she can always be found outdoors. Her passion is hiking year round with her dogs and occasional backpack trips on the AT. In the summer she enjoys being on the local waters paddleboarding and kayaking. Mental health is very important to her and she believes staying active and being outdoors is key! Boundless has given her the chance to share this with teens who need that extra support and encouragement.

He's also a long-distance runner, being a seven-time marathoner, two-time ultramarathoner, and one-time triathloner. He lives in Annapolis with his spoiled rotten dog.
Scott Steers
Scott's journey from marketing and business development into consulting for non-profits, particularly churches, spans over two decades. His involvement with the differently abled community began when he volunteered with school-age kids labeled as "Slow Learners." Through this experience, Scott discovered a natural affinity and skill for connecting and communicating effectively with these children. Motivated by his positive experiences, Scott founded Lucky and Blessed Fishing two years ago. This initiative has evolved into a non-profit organization that has already facilitated over 200 fishing adventures for individuals across six counties in Maryland. Lucky and Blessed Fishing officially gained 501c3 status in late 2023, marking a significant milestone in its journey to serve the community. Scott's background in marketing and business development, coupled with his genuine passion for serving others, has evidently shaped his ability to create meaningful impact through Lucky and Blessed Fishing and now with Boundless Edventures. Over the last two years, Scott has really enjoyed building relationships with the BE leadership and kiddos and recently decided to join the board, to be able to support this amazing charity organization in new ways! His story highlights the transformative power of combining professional skills with personal passion to benefit underserved communities.
